Why Work at NGN?
At Northern Gas Networks, we are a community. We provide a supportive and fun working environment in our spacious offices with onsite parking provided. We embrace creativity and innovation as well as offering a range of learning and development opportunities to progress your career.
Since we started operating in 2005, We have led the way as one of the most cost-efficient of the UK's eight gas distribution networks, reliably delivering gas to over 2.7 million homes and businesses.
Our 'dream' is to become the UK's most loved, admired and respected company, and we aim to do this through an empowered team that is 'mind-blowingly great!'
We are seeking an individual with a strong administrative background to join this small, close-knit team. Reporting into the Planning Supervisor, you will ensure the translation of NGN systems information into effective and efficient work schedules for all areas of Network. Further, you will provide the correct level of support to the Maintenance Team so that all activities are delivered to meet the requirements of the business.
The post-holder will undergo data administration activities, using SAP to create work orders, report and check which maintenance jobs are due. You will develop a wider understanding of the scope of work, which will help to identify and prioritise key workload.
This is a busy role, and often the environment can be reactive (as you have to respond as different work flows come in). Due to this, there is ample opportunity for self development and there is certainly never a dull day!
