The Quantity Surveyor will carry out the day to day pre and post contractual & commercial management on a portfolio of contracts as part of a commercial team to the value of £40m pa. The overall role of the Quantity Surveyor is to support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and the Commercial Team in their role of maximising commercial value, reducing risk to the business and assist with the delivery of all specific business outputs and targets.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management across construction contract activities within the Major Projects Team to ensure contract engagements are in line with Business & Contract Strategies and policies both pre and post contract award across the following work streams;
