Our Gas Operatives are at the very heart of our business. The Gas Operative works alongside their Team Leader to carry out repairs to reported gas escapes as well as undertaking replacement work on gas mains and services.
You will be required to excavate in the highway and footpath, lay PE pipe and undertake gas connection work within our Network.
We are looking for individuals with a strong people focus, as the Gas Operative will communicate with colleagues, customers and members of the public to request and process information.
Further, the Gas Operative will be required to carry out driving duties as part of their role, or be primarily assigned to driving for the purpose of collecting or delivering materials and equipment.
